Send in the clowns

The last few weeks have flown by in rather a whirl, with our Operation Christmas Child checking centre in full swing, collecting, checking and packing the shoeboxes ready for export to their destinations. Last week it was time to part with this year's puppets - both the clowns....

... and the teddies.

100 puppets sent in shoeboxes to needy children worldwide.

I made couple of extra puppets to go in my own shoeboxes..

... along with some knitted hats and mitts, a little crochet bag for a girl and a litlle knitted boat for a boy.
These are now safely packed and on their way.

When my feet hit the ground I will share some pictures of this year's activity at our Maidenhead Checking Centre. See you soon.
