Number 60

A while ago, I asked on this blog for suggestions for more little characters to knit to complete my set of 10, and Linda of Chalkey's World suggested a mouse. Well, Linda, he's been a long time coming, but here he is, at last.

The most famous mouse in the world - Mickey!

Dear me, I've just realised that I've forgotten to give him a tail. I will have to add that later!

In a future post I will, as promised, show pictures of all 10 little characters, but today the weather is so nice that I want to be out in the garden! Hope it's as nice where you are!

  1. That is the cutest mouse I have ever seen -- all your puppets are wonderful but to date he is my favourite. No wlet me think -- Challenge panda ?
    Kindest Regards Linda

  2. Awe, Linda, I've completed my set of 10 characters now, and was going to rattle off some more clowns for a change. However, I did find an old list I made a while back with ideas for 'specials' and sure enough, panda was on it, together with owl and a few others. Maybe I shouldn't be so regimented and deviate from my sets of 10?

  3. What a wonderful little puppet! Thank you so very much for visiting my blog. I have had such fun looking at yours.

PL, good news! WD have withdrawn their complaint stating "on closer inspection we didn't feel that the puppet in question bore sufficient resemblance to one of our trademarked products".

But take care now when posting that Ronald MacDonald puppet! And keep up the good work for charity ;-)

  6. Hi Janet,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Your comments very much appreciated! and I'll do that!
Lets hope its a nice weekend.

Your puppets are so....comical I just love them.
I noticed in Hobby Craft today a new book 'not puppets' I have to add but a knitting book for tv personalities.
Harry Hill of TV had some knitted people some months ago and it seems there is a book out now.
If you are interested at all, I'll go back and get you the name.
Maybe its just Puppets you knit?
    Love to you Suex

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it.
